Cox Orange Large Fruits, apple
Also known as Cox's Orange Great Fruits from SmÄryd. The variety is probably a clone of Cox Orange occurred in Sweden. Has been known in Denmark since of 1867.
The tree has a medium, wide crowned growth.
The apple is medium-sized, with greenish-yellow ground color and orange to reddish brown topcoat. The flesh is medium juicy, sweet, slightly acidic with a strong aroma. Tastes like Cox Orange.
Harvested in late September and has a long shelf life.
